Are Broken Bow Cabins Worth the Cost?
The hot tub at Adventus.
The short answerFor a group of four to eight, usually yes. Our bigger cabins work out to roughly $40–$55 per person per night, with a private hot tub included. For two people it costs more per person, about $100–$115 each in our two couples cabins. Whether that's worth it depends on what you're comparing against and how many of you are sharing.
Start with the cost per person
The nightly rate is only half the picture. Here is what the average guest paid per night, divided by how many people the cabin sleeps, before cleaning fee and tax:
| Cabin | Sleeps | Average night | Per person, full house |
|---|---|---|---|
| Adventus | 6–8 | $324 | $41–$54 |
| Lost Lake Treehouse | 6 | $274 | $46 |
| Blue Ridgetop | 6 | $323 | $54 |
| Emerald Star | 2 | $202 | $101 |
| Blue Night Sky | 2 | $226 | $113 |
Averages across all booking sites, October 2025 to September 2026. Booking direct runs about 9% less. This assumes the cabin is full, so the cost per person goes up if you bring fewer people.
What you're getting for it
- A private hot tub at every cabin.
- Wifi that's usually very consistent.
- Cabins that are clean and well stocked, which is what guests tell us most. We have more than 880 reviews on Airbnb, averaging 4.92.
- Privacy. It's your own cabin, not a room in a shared building.
What you don't get: firewood or charcoal. All five cabins are bring-your-own, so plan to pack your own.
When it's a better value
- A group. Splitting a six-person cabin is where cabins win. Four people at Lost Lake Treehouse, at the average rate, pay about $69 each per night.
- Longer stays. The cleaning fee is a flat charge, so it spreads out. At $250 a night with a $150 fee, one night costs $400, two nights cost $325 a night, three nights $300, and four nights about $288. Stay 7 nights or more and you also get 10% off the nightly rate.
- Sunday through Thursday. Those nights cost roughly 15–30% less than Friday and Saturday. See the full cost breakdown.
- Booking direct. Our direct rates run about 8–10% below the same stay on Airbnb. Here's how we compared them.
When it's harder to justify
- One night. The cleaning fee ($105–$200) is a big share of a one-night stay.
- Peak weekends. July Friday and Saturday nights average $411 across our cabins.
- Two people in a big cabin. You're paying for space you won't use. That's what our two-person cabins are for.
How to judge any cabin's value
- Compare the final total, not the nightly rate. Add the cleaning fee and tax.
- Divide by the number of people, then by the number of nights.
- Check the cancellation policy. Here's ours.
- Read recent, specific reviews. Here's how to check them.
- Ask what's not included.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a Broken Bow cabin cost per person?
For our larger cabins, roughly $40 to $55 per person per night when the cabin is full. For two people in one of our couples cabins, about $100 to $115 each.
Is a Broken Bow cabin cheaper for a group?
Yes. The cost per person drops sharply as more people share a cabin, because the price is per cabin, not per guest.
Are longer stays a better value?
Yes. The cleaning fee is a flat charge per stay, so it spreads across more nights. Staying 7 nights or more at our cabins also takes 10% off the nightly rate.
When is a Broken Bow cabin not worth it?
For a single night, when the cleaning fee is a big share of the price; on peak summer weekends; or when only two people stay in a cabin built for six.
