The short answerMost of our cabins run about $200–$325 a night for the cabin itself, plus a one-time cleaning fee ($105–$200) and about 16% lodging tax. A typical two-night weekend booked direct comes to roughly $620–$960. Sunday through Thursday nights usually cost 15–30% less than Friday and Saturday.

These are real numbers, not a guess

I manage five cabins in Broken Bow and Hochatown. Below is what guests actually paid over the last 12 months, averaged across every stay. It isn't a list price, so you'll see where it moves.

The extras: cleaning fee and tax

The cleaning fee is one flat charge per stay, not per night. It runs from $105 at Emerald Star to $200 at Adventus. That's why a one-night stay costs more per night than a three-night one. Oklahoma lodging tax adds about 16% on top.

How to pay less

  1. Come Sunday through Thursday. The cheapest nights we sell are Sunday through Thursday in April, averaging about $170.
  2. Pick a quieter month. April, February and August cost the least.
  3. Stay longer. The cleaning fee is the same whether you stay one night or four. Staying 7 nights or more also takes 10% off the nightly rate.
  4. Book direct. Our direct rates run about 8–10% below the same stay on Airbnb. Here's how we compared them.
